Harry Dean Stanton played crooks and codgers, eccentrics and losers over sixty years of his life. He played them with compassion, animated and with pathos. Harry Dean Stanton has an unforgettable presence when he is acting, and for that reason, he will be missed. One of his dear friends the late Roger Ebert a movie critic once said no good movies could be a great movie if it does not include Mr.Stanton in a supporting role. Actor Harry Dean Stanton Passes Away Over The Weekend

Director David Lynch said when he was presenting Actor Harry Dean Stanton with the Inaugural “Harry Dean Stanton Award in 2016 said that many famous actors would agree that he is a blessing to work with on set. David Lynch also added that no one would give a more down to earth, honest, incredible performance than Mr. Harry Dean Stanton. The “Harry Dean Stanton Award” was presented in 2016 to him in Los Angeles.

Stanton’s agent John S. Kelly said in a statement that his death was from natural causes. Stanton was  at his local hospital in Los Angeles was the age of ninety-one. David Lynch director of many famous films frequently worked with Harry Dean Stanton. David Lynch collab with Mr. Stanton on films such as “Wild At Heart,” and “Twin Peaks” just to name a couple. In a statement after David Lynch learned of the actor’s death, he said that everyone who worked with Harry Dean Stanton loved him. He was a great movie star, a great human, but mostly a great friend and his friends will miss him dearly.
