Cam Newton is accused of making sexist remarks during a recent press conference. At the conference, Newton said that it was funny to here a reporter, that was female, asking questions about pass routes. There has not been any apology from Cam or his camp on the matter,
More than likely there will be no apology. Cam meant exactly what he said. It shows a glimpse of his true feelings. He might regret the fact that he gave the world more insight on how he really feels about women in the industry.
Be that as it may, an apology at this time would go meritless. Whether through social media or a handwritten letter, it’s going to be hard to get people to believe him. Everyone saw him expresses his true feelings.
Now, maybe if Cam was a rookie, people could expect a call from H.R. But as Newton gets closer to being 30, he knows himself better. However, it’s safe to believe that he is set in his ways.
It may be best for Cam Newton to keep quiet. It’s not like anyone is going to be him.
However, he still has to face the media. After meeting up and playing Detroit on Sunday, he’s going to get questions on the situation. With that being the case, the pro-baller may want to have another press conference. This way, he’d at least be able to get the questions out of the way.
Knowing Cam Newton, it’s likely that there will not be another conference.
Maybe it is his plan, after all, not to say anything. It would have worked better for him if he did that int he first place. Currently, NFL players are trying to secure racial equality throughout the U.S. All in all, there should be equality for all, no subcategories.
