Nike is making headlines due to their new campaign featuring Colin Kaepernick. They will unveil their new ad, which is narrated by the former football player today during the NFL season opener.
The commercial includes athletes such as LeBron James, Serena Williams, and a plethora of others. They speak of the controversy that has come about when it comes to NFL. Players continue to kneel during the playing of the national anthem. They do so in protest of racial inequality, police brutality, and other issues.
He begins the ad by saying if people say your dreams are crazy if they laugh at what you think you can do, good. He goes on to say stay that way, because what nonbelievers fail to understand is that calling a dream crazy is not an insult, it’s a compliment.
Though he narrates during the entirety of the commercial, he will make an appearance in the commercial midway. When the camera pans to Kaepernick’s face, there will also be the reflection of the US flag on a building right behind him.
