People familiar with the folklore will get a glimpse of the story that’s been shared from generation to generation.
Linda Cardellini, who was apart of the live-action Scooby-Doo movies as Velma, doesn’t have the gang to support her in this film. Others joining her in this heart-jolting film are Raymond Cruz, Patricia Velasquez, Marisol Ramirez, Sean Patrick Thomas, Jaynee-Lynne Kinchen, and Roman Christou.
The Curse Of La Llorona
La Llorona is a terrifying apparition that is caught between heaven and hell. Just mentioning her name will bring about the thought s and feelings of terror to many. While alive, she drowned her children while in a jealous rage. She threw herself into the river after her children as she wept. However, she now cries forever. Unfortunately, anyone who is within an earshot of her death cry will face their demise. She creeps about in the shadows, seeking out children to make her own. As time has gone on, La Llorona, or The Weeping Woman, has become more terrifying and deadly in her attacks.
The trailer takes place in 1970s Los Angeles. La Llorona is doing what she does best, stalking children. Choosing to ignore the warning of an upset mother who is suspected of endangering her children, a social worker, and her small children become drawn into the scary realm of the supernatural. However, their only way out of the nightmare may be a disillusioned priest, and the mysticism uses to keep evil away.
