Jussie Smollett’s Racial and Homophobic Incident

Things are looking too good for Empire star Jussie Smollett. Chicago police say that they are in the process of requesting more phone records from the celebrity after his attack. Reports say that the attack was racial and homophobic motivated. There are rumors going around that police may charge the Jussie with filling a false police report. Though he did turn over phone records, there is evidence suggesting that his story isn’t true.

Fox 32 Chicago’s anchor Rager Weigel was able to report about the incident Monday night. He says that police were able to receive cell phone records on Monday from Smollett’s camp.

Jussie Smollett May See Himself In Bars If Not Culprits Are Found

Previously, Weigel was saying that the police superintendent was going to hold Jussie accountable if the investigation turns out to be false. According to Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson, Jussie remains in the victim in the situation. However, if his story reveals to be false, he will receive charges.

On Monday evening, ABC7 Chicago was saying that someone found an empty hot sauce bottle that smelled like bleach. The bottle was near the location of the attack. According to Jussie, the attackers were wearing ‘Make America Great Again” hats. Also, they were screaming “This Is MAGA country” before pouring bleach on to him. However, they also put a noose around his neck on January 29 around 2 in the morning.

Chicago police were able to confirm a New York Post story about the hot sauce bottle being in the area of the incident,
According to Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesman for the Chicago Police Department, it is unclear if the container has any relationship to the event with Jussie. The FBI will provide the Chicago Police Department with technical help. As of now, there is no information on whether the CPD has the bottle or the FBI.
