The tickets are only for flights leaving out of either Tokyo or Osaka. Also, they will be going to or of four destinations that the Japanese airline chooses. Doing so encourages tourists to visit outside of the typical urban areas.

According to Japan Airlines, There is more to the country than bright lights. They say that visitors will be able to discover more about the history of the country. Also, visitors will be able to understand the distinctive cultural practices of the different regions.
Reports from JTB Tourism Research show that 2.5 million foreign residents were able to visit the country in October. The tourism industry was booming in 2017, accumulating $37 billion in revenue.
However, government statistics show that more travelers were visiting the Kanto region. They were also visiting the Kansai region, Osaka, and Kyoto. Smaller, more rural areas weren’t capturing the same amount of money for tourism. So, Japan Airlines is going to do its best to encourage visitors to go to them.
